Little Rainbow Notecards...

Hi All! and a very Happy Tuesday to you! Today, I thought I would take a break from all the challenges for a change and post something just for fun.  I've been having such a great time creating with my Lil' Inkers Rainbow's & Clouds Dies and Stamps set! In fact, I have gone a bit crazy with them lol .. I have made up a bunch of really fun note card sets that I plan to give as gifts and even popped a set into my Etsy shop as well, for good measure. 8-)

I really kept these very CAS as I was making a bunch of them, but I think they still came out pretty darn cute, just the same..8-)  The other thing I really love about this fun little Dies and Stamps set is that you can use up your scraps and bits of leftover  DP's and CS, how great is that! lol  Here's a few pics of the individual cards..

These were Super easy peasy to make up and really quick too!  I used my Flourishes Classic Ivory CS to create my standard A1 ( 3 1/2" x 4 7/8") note cards to fit the A1 sized envelopes I had on hand. I ran various scraps of dp's through my CB using my Lil' Inker  Rainbow & Clouds dies and decided on my rainbow stripe's color combos. For my BG I used some scraps of left over kraft from my stash and embossed them using my CB again and the divine swirls embossing folder for a bit of texture. I popped up my fun little rainbow and clouds ensemble with a few dimensionals, stamped my Lil' Inker Sentiments with Memento Rich Cocoa directly onto my note cards and added some fun coordinating polkadot ribbon to finish them all up!  See, easy peasy... 8-)

Hope you all have a fabulous day & thanks so much for stopping in!

You're Sew Thoughtful!

Hi All! And a very Happy Saturday to you!  I'm back with another Fun Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge. Yay! I Just Love Korin's Awesome Sketches, they're always so much fun to work with! 8-) I took one look at the this weeks sketch and new exactly which image I would use, it's one from Sweet 'N Sassy that I had been wanting to color up for a while now.. 8-)  So without further delay.... Here is the Sweet Stop Sketch #123  for this week:

And here's my take on it.. Pretty much the only tiny tweek this time is that my card is not exactly square, more like a taller rectangle, almost square, but not quite.. lol

I printed out my Darling  Sew Happy Cocoa from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps onto Flourishes Classic White and colored him up with my trusty Copics, as always..lol.  Isn't he just the Sweetest little guy!  Well I thought so, and I added a touch of Antique Linen Distress ink shading after cutting him out with my Classic Rectangles Nesties, leaving the die in place.  I matted Up My Sweet little Cocoa with the help of my Classic Scallops Rectangles and some Adorable Digi dp's from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl set. I thought it was just the cutest sewing themed dp ever and so perfect for my Sew Happy Cocoa image too!  My BG layers were made from the same digi dp's and a bit of Kraft CS from my stash as well. I printed my Sweet 'N Sassy sentiment onto a small bit of CS from my stash, rounded the corners with my corner chomper and shaded it with a touch of Antique Linen Distress ink.  And to finish it all up, I popped up my Adorable Little Cocoa with some dimensionals,  and added a few Fun little buttons all tied up with some yummy bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds...Pretty easy peasy, huh?.. 8-)
Well, I sure hope you can play along with us at The Sweet Stop!  Can't wait to see your take on this weeks sketch and what you all come up with!  And as always, please, make sure to stop by and take a peek at the Super Cute Creations the rest of the Sweet Stop Sugar Babies have cooked up for your inspiration! 8-)

Happy B-Day!

Hi All and a Very Happy Sunday to you!  Today I am back with a really quick post to share my latest creation, inspired by The Color Throwdown #155,  they had such Fabulous colors this week, and Mojo Monday's Terrific Sketch# 204 too..

I noticed lots of ladies using the MME Gertie collection, which I absolutely love and agree are perfect for The Color Throwdown's color combo this week, and I wanted to make sure and put them together a bit differently than everyone as well... And at 3:00AM, my combo looked pretty darned cute to me, but today I am not so sure I like it as much lol..  ( does that ever happen to you? lol..)  I am feeling it's a bit on the Busy side for my tastes.. lol  But my DH says its fantastic.. Hmmm not so sure if he's just humoring me or not.. lol  Anyway, here's my take on both the challenges and dp's too.. 8-)

Well as you know lol, my panels an BG were all made up with the MME Gertie collection and I chose to mat everything up with some kraft CS from my stash as well.  To create my Fun little flower focal piece, I fired up my Cricut and broke out my Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge for the very first time! Don't know why I have been hesitating to try it out lol..  It made it so fast and easy to put my Darling little flower together and there are so many more combos to choose from too! I can now see I will be using this cartridge a lot!! lol 8-)  To finish it all up, I stamped my Flourishes sentiment onto a fun little die cut tag with Memento Rich Cocoa, and shaded with a touch of Antique Linen Distress Ink, popped up my main panel with a few dimensionals and added a cute little button, all tied up with a bit of hemp twine.  8-)

Hope you all are enjoying the rest of your weekend & thanks so much for visiting today!

Let's Celebrate!

Hi All! And a Very Happy Saturday to you! Today I am back with another Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! Yay!  This Week our Challenge is a Sketch with a Spin, and that means there is a Fantastic prize up for grabs to one lucky winner and all you need to do is add some type of Fabulous Fibers to your sketch creation!  I drew my inspiration for my sketch creation from my Terrific teammate Kim O'Connell, a quick trip to the Twinery Blog ,suggested by my Wonderful friend and teammate Monika Davis, and last but definitely not least, my newly acquired  Lil' Inker Designs Rainbows & Clouds dies and stamp set... Let me tell you, this is a  fun little set!  So easy to use and so many fun possibilities! So without further delay, here's the Sweet Stop Sketch #122 for this week:

And here's my take on it.. I only changed the shape of my semi circle to a cloud shape, and kept the rest spot on with Korin's Fantastic sketch!... 8-)

My Sweet Rainbow and Clouds were created with the help of my brand new Lil' Inker Rainbow & Clouds die set and a bit of ivory CS from my stash, a Zig glue pen, four different colors of Yummy bakers twine from MAD Stamper Finds,  a touch of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and a lot of patience, to apply the bakers twine to each stripe of the rainbow.. lol  My BG panels were created with a combination of ivory CS from my stash that I ran through my CB using the Divine Swirls embossing folder and shaded with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, some kraft CS from my stash and some Adorable Lime Twist DP from MME. My Impression Obsession sentiment was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa onto a Fun little cloud cut with the help of my Cricut and the Potpourri cartridge.  And to finish it all up I popped up both my sentiment & image panels with a few dimensionals, added some more Yummy bakers twine and a Darling little heart button from my stash.

Well, I sure hope you can play along with us at The Sweet Stop this week, can't wait to see your take on this weeks sketch! And please, make sure to stop by and take a peek at the rest of the Sweet Stop Sugar Babies Awesome creations! 8-)

Wishing you Happiness...

Hi All! And a very Happy Friday to you. I've been MIA for a few days, again.. lol.. Trying to re-organize my schedule a bit and spend more time with my DH, and enjoy whats left of the summer. 8-) I've also been getting my crafts room a little more organized as well. It sure helps me think and create better when there's less clutter.. lol..So now that that's all straightened up, I think I am back to our regularly scheduled program.. Yay!.. Today I thought I would play along with a couple of challenges, 8-)

I chose to play along with the Fabulous Ladies of CR84FN and their latest Color Challenge #36. And OMGoodness, what an absolutely Gorgeous color palate they gave us to play with this time!  I also thought I would give Iwona's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #24  a try.. She creates the most Wonderful Sketches, I have to tell ya,  and this one was no exception!

I started off by creating my BG with various dp's from, believe it or not, my scrap stash, even my little scroll Cricut die cut butterfly layer is left over from a previous project.. So, I am really at a loss as to who's dp's they are this time..lol but, I am thrilled that I did not have to cut up anything new and got rid of some of my left overs too..8-)  I can tell you that most of my embellies, the chip board frame, corrugated butterfly, seam binding, crochet flower and my dicut doily too, all came from MAD Stamper finds.  I did add a bit of shading with my Scattered Straw and Wild Honey Distress Inks and then toned My BG pieces down with my Snow Cap Paint Dabber, which I also added to all my Kraft pieces, the mats, die cut Doily and corrugated butterfly..I think it added a nice little Shabby distressed look. My Hero Arts sentiment  was stamped onto a small piece Script dp also from my stash with Memento Rich Cocoa and shaded with Wild honey and Scattered Straw Distress inks before being mounted to a fun stamp shaped chip board frame. To finish it all up, added my pretty seam binding bow topped with a lovely crochet flower, a vintage pearl brad and added few more sweet pearls for my little Butterfly. Pretty easy peasy, huh..8-)

Hope you are all having a Wonderful Day & thanks so much for stopping by!

Thank You For All You Do!

Hi All! And a Very Happy Saturday to you! Today I am back with another Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! Yay!  This was another fun one for me, 'cause I took one look at Korin's Awesome Sketch and new it would be perfect for this Darling Sweet 'N Sassy image my Wonderful friend Monika sent me. See, when I first Became a Sugar Baby, I didn't have any Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps yet... Not to worry though, since then, that situation has definitely been remedied lol, and my Sweet 'N Sassy collection is growing more and more with each passing week..lol. Anyway, I just thought it was Really Super Sweet of her to send me a few images to tie me over till I could pick up a few of my own. Thanks so Much Miss Monika! 8-)  So without further delay, here's the Sweet Stop Sketch #121 for this week:

And here's my take on it.. I stuck pretty much with Korin's Awesome sketch.. Didn't change a thing... 8-)

My Sweet little turtle friend is from Sweet 'N Sassy's Gifts from Turtle Set.  Isn't he just the Sweetest little guy!  Well I thought so.. 8-)  I colored him up with my trusty Copics, of course, lol and sponged my clouds with my favorite template and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I added a touch of Antique Linen Distress ink shading and used my score pal to emboss the edges for a nice clean look and then popped him up with a few dimensionals. For my Mats and BG layers I chose a combination of grey polkadot dp's from Sasafrass, Florade 2 digi dp's from Anita Richards and Sunny Day digi dp's from Kate Teague that I had left over in my stash. But, you can find them at Two Peas in a Bucket.. 8-)   To finish it all up, I hand wrote my sentiment onto a Lil' Inker die cut tag, added a fun MS punched border, a bit of polkadot ribbon, some yummy lemon yellow bakers twine, from MAD Stamper Finds, and a few Sweet paper flowers all topped of with a glittery brad from my stash. Pretty easy peasy, huh?.. 8-)

Well, I sure hope you can play along with us at The Sweet Stop this week, can't wait to see your take on this weeks sketch! And please, make sure to stop by and take a peek at the rest of the Sweet Stop Sugar Babies Fantastic creations! 8-)

Black Cat's Ride...

Hi All! And a very Happy Monday to you! Today I am back with another Fabulous Stamps R Us Challenge! Yay! 8-) Today our Theme is "Encore Presentation".  So we are asking you to Re- Post one of your all time favorite cards, it can be any type of card you wish, but it must be a Favorite worthy, in your opinion, of being re-posted, and then tell us all about it.. Our Wonderful Sponsor is also.. Stamps R Us!  And Miss Jan has put together the Super Terrific prize for one very lucky winner, of joining us as our Guest Desinger for a future challenge! How Cool is that! So I sure hope you can play along with us.  And please stop by the Stamps R Us Blog to take a peek at the rest of  Wonderful Design Team's All time Favorite cards! 8-)

One of my all time favorites is one that I have never posted, It is is however, one of the first cards I ever photographed, cause even though its a super CAS card, I really liked how it turned out... Sorry the pic is not the best, I was still learning, lol.. Anyway, I made a bunch of them, to send to friends and family last Halloween..  And let me tell you, all that coloring took me Forever on each card, I think I made up about 8 of them!  Trust me, I  didn't go near my Copics  for about a week after they were all done lol.. I needed a serious coloring break! 8-)
Let's see,  my Fun Witchy Kitty image is from Impression Obsession and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and embossed with Clear EP,  and colored up with my trusty Copics, of course! lol.  I masked my image and stamped my spooky clouds using  Flourishes' Clouds Background stamp and Memento Tuxedo black.  I matted it up with some black CS from my stash and my BG dp's are from Making Memories Toil and Trouble set. I added a nice little embossed edge to both my image panel and BG panel  using my Score Pal to give it a professional finished look.  And to finish it all up I added a Fun little button all tied up with a bow! Pretty easy peasy, but still one of my all time favorites! 8-)

Hope you all have a Fantastic day & thanks so much for visiting!

Have a Sweet Halloween!

Hi All! Happy Saturday to you! I can't believe how fast time is passing, pretty soon, kids will be back in school, if they are not already lol, and Fall will be upon us!  And since Fall is my all time favorite season, I can't wait! 8-) I Love crisp fall days and the cooler temps...8-)
Well, today I'm back with another Fabulous Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge! Yay!  I had lots of fun with Korin's Terrific sketch this week and made not one, but two Fun Halloween cards!  One specifically for The Sweet Stop and the other for Impression Obsessions Orange Challenge.  Now, there are those that may think it's a bit silly, but I love to send out Halloween cards to my friends and family.. I'm not real big on the dressing up part.. but I love to pass out candy to the little ones and send fun cards to those near and dear to me.. 8-) So without further delay, here's the Sweet Stop Sketch #120 for this week and my first two Halloween cards of the season:

I chose to flip the sketch for my cards for just a bit a variety.. First up is my Card for The Sweet Stop...8-)

I stamped my Fun little I/O Spooky Cupcake image by Leigh Hannan onto Flourishes Classic White with Momento Tuxedo Black and colored it up with my trusty Copics. I cut out and layered my cupcake with the help of my Classic Circles and Scalloped CirclesNesties sets.  I shaded my image with a touch of Antique Linen Distress Ink while my die was still in place and then popped my matted Cupcake up with a few dimensionals.  For my Mats and BG layers I chose a combination of black CS from my stash and some fun dp's from Making Memories Toil and Trouble set.  I created my own custom stamped Main BG panel using I/O's  Pumpkin background, also by Leigh Hannan, with Memento Tuxedo Black and sponged on some Rusty Hinge Distress Ink. To finish it all up, I stamped my I/O sentiment onto a little punched tag with Memento Tuxedo Black, added fun Cricut die cut Moon and Stars blinged up with a bit of Stickles,a few tiny black gemstones, some black seam binding ribbon, a cute little button, and a  black gemstone brad to top it all off....

As you can see, it's pretty much the same design as the first one with a few minor changes, I used the same I/O Sentiment , I/O Spooky Cupcakes stamp  & I/O Pumpkin background stamp all by Leigh Hannan, I just featured a different one of the cupcakes.. And some fun Orange polka dot ribbon.. No button or brad this time.. but still very festive.. I also really emphasized the Orange.. lol.. It's almost Orange Overload! LOL...

Anyway, I Sure hope you can play along with us at The Sweet Stop, can't wait to see your take on this weeks sketch! And please, make sure to stop by and take a peek at the rest of the Sweet Stop Sugar Babies Adorable creations! Oh, and speaking of the Fabulous Sugar Babies, lol..I'm so excited to announce We have  brand new Sugar Baby joining the team this week, so please give a warm welcome to the Very Talented Kim O'Connell of Paper Perfect Designs. I know you are all just going to love her Wonderful Creations! 8-)

Congratulations!

Hi All!  And a very Happy Thursday to you.  I've been MIA for a few days..lol taking a little breather if you will. 8-) Was soo busy last month, that I want to make sure I remember to keep things fun.. Don't want to get overloaded, 'cause then everything becomes a chore.. A" have too" instead of a "want too".. if that makes sense.. lol.. I sure don't know how you ladies with more than 3-4 design teams do it and still keep it fun, that's for sure..lol. If I had to sacrifice sharing my warmth & kindness and helpful info with others when it's asked for,  in order to stay on top of things.. I don't know, lol  I think I would have to step back and re- think a few things.. 8-)  Well, luckily for me that's not the case here.. So back to our regularly scheduled program.. Today I thought I would play along with a couple of challenges, "just for fun!" 8-)

I chose to play along with the Fabulous Ladies of CR84FN and their latest Color Challenge #35. And OMGoodness, what an absolutely Gorgeous color palate they gave us to play with this time!  I also thought I would give Iwona's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #22  a try.. She creates the most Wonderful Sketches, I have to tell ya, I was very inspired!

I started off by creating my BG with various dp's from MME's All Girl Stack and added a fun MS punched border and a bit of crochet lace and seem binding ribbon.  My Impression Obsession sentiment  was stamped onto a small piece of ivory CS from my stash with Memento Tuxedo black and cut out with the help of my Classic Ovals Nesties.  I stamped a bit of detail with my Inkado stamp and punch set designed to compliment various Nesties shapes with some MS Stem Green pigment ink and did a bit of shading with MS Lilac pigment ink as well.  my Layered Mat was created with the help of my Large Classic Ovals & Labels 18 Nesties, a bit of grey patterned dp from my stash and a touch more shading with my MS lilac pigment ink.  To finish it all up, I popped up my sentiment panel with some dimensionals, added my pretty seam binding bow topped with a lovely paper flower that I shaded with my Copics to match and a few sweet pearls. Pretty easy peasy, huh..8-)

Hope you are all having a Wonderful Day & thanks so much for stopping by!
